Family Law, Divorce, Support

I know how stressful family matters are when you don’t know what to expect, what the rules are, and what the outcome will be. My responsibility is to fully explain the process, help you gather and receive the information necessary so that you can make the best decisions for you and your children.

Gathering information and helping you understand the concepts of custody, parenting time, child support, spousal maintenance, division of assets and debts, pension and retirement division, and the continuation of health insurance are just some of the areas that are involved in a divorce.

I believe better and less expensive results are usually obtained by discussion, information and mediation, rather than litigation. I have appeared in hundreds of contested matters and the agreements made by the parties themselves are usually better, longer lasting and less expensive than when the decisions are left for the court to decide.
